Journaling

If any of you are like me, you have a hard time staying current on your journaling (that really is not a word, but you get what I mean). I was really good about two years ago; maybe I am only good when things are a little rough for me and I need to get things off my chest. I do not have an explanation. I just know I have been really bad this year and when I get around to it I have so much to say it is overwhelming. I try to write so fast that my hand gets a cramp. So I have been trying to think of ways I can do better. Luckily, I like scrapbooking so I get some done with that, but not as much as I should. I thought about this blog being a journal tool. Which it is and it works well, but sometimes there are things you want to write in you journal that you do not want to write on a blog that everyone reads. So I felt like I hit a dead end.
Then I came across this. It is absolutely wonderful. It is free (I know there is an option that you can buy but for me the free one works just fine!) I can type a lot faster than I can write. You can print it in book form if you would like. There are some "All About Me" questions that help you come up with things to write that are interesting. I do not know if I am telling you guys about something everyone knows about, but I did not know about it until about a week ago. So I thought I would share. It might not work for everyone, but if I could help anyone with the journaling problem than that is great in my book. I hope it helps someone out!

Family

This year my dad's side of the family decided to all join in the Marathon fun. My dad and my uncle Steve were planning on running the full marathon so they wanted to see if there was anyone that would want to run in the relay or 5K. We had quite the turn out. We had 2 relay teams, 2 marathoners, and about 13 people run the 5K. I did not run except at the end when my dad wanted all of us to run with him. I was part of the support crew though. I had to drop people off at their leg of the race and pick up people when they were finished. It was funny though because almost everyone ran more than their leg they were assigned too. Ryan ran 9 and a half miles when his leg was only 6. I was really proud of him. Up until that day he had not ever ran that far! My uncle was part of one of the relays and he was supposed to run 7 miles, but he ended up running the full marathon!!! It was crazy. Everyone had a great time. I am sorry for all the pictures. I took a million. I know my mom has one of Ryan and I together, but I don't have it on my computer. So you get the one with him talking to me and my face looking absolutely retarded. We also made front page news in the Standard. I was really proud of everyone who ran! Next year Ryan is shooting for the half marathon! You can do it babe!

That night Jared and Chels invited us to a Real game. It was so fun. Really good seats! Thanks guys. (Hopefully next time we go; there will not be crappy calls and we will win!!!)

A Proud Friend!

There have been a lot of graduations going on. My cousin Chelsea and her husband just graduated from Weber State. They made it and could not be more happy to be done. Now Chelsea can be with her son Jackson more!
Also one of my very best friends graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy. I am so proud of her. The last little bit was rough and she wanted to quit many time, but she stuck through it. I am so happy she did. She is going to be a great pharmacist. Even though she is graduated she still is not done studying. She still has to take 2 boards to be able to "officially be a pharmacist." However, no more school!
Ryan and I went up to her graduation since I felt this was a pretty big deal and really wanted to be there for her. We sat with her husband Kerry and his family. You should have heard us yell "Great Job Michelle" when they called her name. Everyone heard us and were very impressed. We just wanted her to know how proud we were of her.

Here she is! She absolutely loved her gown too. (Not really, but it is something to be proud of!)

Proud friends of the graduate

Michelle and Kerry (the man that helped her through it all)

I am so so so very happy for you Michelle! You made it! Good luck with your tests! I am sure you will do great! Just remember what I told you, "This is something you can brag about your whole life."

Good day!

Today is going to be a good day! I have not seen Ryan since Tuesday morning before I left to work. He is coming home today and I could not be more excited! It is awful when he is gone. I hate being alone. Everything is so quite. I just turn on the TV for some kind of noise. I also do NOT sleep well at all without him in bed with me. It is not a good thing. I just need to get over it I know, but I just love him so much. I hate being away from him.
He is such a great husband. Michelle is graduating from Pharmacy school. (I will post about that later.) It is such a huge accomplishment in her life I want to be there for her. So Ryan is making sure he will be home to go to that with me. He is so good. This weekend will be a good weekend because I get to see my husband! And I get to see Michelle. I do not get to see her enough! Congrats Michelle on getting through Pharmacy School!
